Top 20 guitar solo's of all time

My list of the top 20 guitar solo's of all time ranked by influence, technical ability, emotional content and "Bad ass quotient." It's a shame the list was originally supposed to be the top 30 but Itunes wouldn't let me publish some of the songs so I had to shorten it. the picture following the list is the original list of thirty.

As you can see iTunes omitted many of the best songs on the list, also if you noticed the list is actually 31 songs but you can thank Pink Floyd for splitting "shine on you crazy diamond" into two parts.

My personal favorite is number five "Maggot Brain" by Funkadelic, it's ten minutes of what can only be described as Eddie Hazel in a drug-induced Guitar-coma, and I meen that in the best way possible.

Dear God

I want to preface this upcoming post with a few strong words!
DAMN EVERLAST!
DAMN HIM STRAIGHT TO HELL!
I was once a fan of the man, no joke! I have a copy of Whitey Ford Sings the Blues and all. In reality I get goosebumps every time that I listen to "What it's like." But covering a Johnny cash song by simply replacing a guitar solo with a synth organ solo? Adding a looped scrath effect? Seriously I don't understand why such a great and original musician had to stoop so low in order to resurrect a dying music carrier. This cover is an insult not a homage!

Chemtrails. No I'm Not Crazy Yes Beck is Back in Form

So There's a new Beck Album on it's ways and while the single has been out for a while I finally sat down and got a chance to listen and enjoy. The truth is that there is nothing that is abrasive about this song everything from the affected drum beat to the soft strumming is very pleasant albeit not very different or exciting. Take a look at it trust me it's good.
